On April 22nd, people across the world will celebrate the 51st annual Earth Day, where we will initiate sustainability efforts, appreciate nature, and educate others on how we can reduce our carbon footprint.
This year, Earth Day has gone digital! Virtual events including fundraisers, environmental lectures, and films will take place on Earth Day. You can view a complete list of events at earthday.org.
2021’s theme is “Restore Our Earth”, and we wanted to share ways that the Acceleware team is reducing our environmental impact through our technologies and day-to-day operations. In office, we have implemented easy ways for team members to make an impact on their carbon footprint, including:
In-office recycling and composting program
Paperless communications and processes
Encourage commuting and biking to work, providing showers and storage areas
A few members from the team, including our CEO, bike to work every day – no matter what season it is!
